The following 2 part videos serves to clarify and correct some of the assertions and observations made by Mr. Bob Rae, whose commentary served as a backdrop to a debate labelled " The tear drop civil war" on the TVO program "the Agenda" aired on Tuesday, March 03, 2009.
Mr. Rae's rendition of the history of Sri Lanka and the context of the present situation is mired with inconsistencies and lacks certain dimensions we seek to establish by this rebuttal.
