Addressing the American Jewish Committee in San Francisco, the former Chief Executive Officer and President of the Pacific Area Travel Association "Lakshman Ratnapala said the LTTE has become the world’s most ruthless terrorist organization.
They have perpetrated more suicide bombings than Hamas and Hezbollah combined, killing thousands of people, including their own Tamil dissidents and moderates alike; innocent civilians dragged out of buses; clergy and worshipers in temples, churches and mosques; innocent farmers and villagers, children and infants put to the sword as they slept at night.
They have also a trained suicide squad, the Black Tigers, a separate Women’s Corps, a navy and an air force – the only terrorist organization in the world to have these.
